‘Helping Black Children Reach Their Full Potential’ in WPB

February 29 @ 3:00 pm

Helping Black Children Reach Their Full Potential is the name of a free event being held at 3 p.m. today at St. Paul AME Church in West Palm Beach. According to the event presenter Steve White, an education consultant, there are seven keys to developing what he calls “the genius inherent in all black children,” and he will present on each of them. Those seven keys include developing a productive parent/teacher relationship, how to build a home environment that helps create a high achiever and the unique educational challenges facing children of color. To learn more, call 561-208-6509 or send Mr. White, the event consultant, an email to steve@protectivehands.com. (And, to learn more about him, click here.)  The event is part of the work of St. Paul AME Church’s African Resource Planning Committee, which is in the process of creating an after-school program that focuses on teaching children about Africa, the diaspora and its arts and culture. Mr. White will be the main instructor.
