Celebrate and Grow Black-Owned Business–with the PBC School District

February 5 @ 8:00 am - 1:00 pm

$30.00

In honor of February, Black History Month, the School District of Palm Beach County’s Office of Diversity in Business Practices is hosting an all-thumbs-up event that seeks to provide support in a variety of ways for small, local businesses, including through talks with subject matter experts, networking with department representatives and hearing from smart and aware speakers. That last category includes keynote speaker Joshua Esnard, the inventor of Cut Buddy and a winning contestant on the national TV show, ‘Shark Tank.’ The event will also feature School Board member Dr. Debra Robinson (District 7) and the chance to have a free professional headshot taken. The event will be held today, from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the District’s headquarters in West Palm Beach. Tickets are $25 now and $30 at the door. For more information, visit the event site here and the department itself, here.
