“All People’s Day’ in Delray Beach

March 21 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm

*Due to coronavirus, this event has been cancelled as of March 13. Call the organizer to learn more.*

This event is literally, for everybody. The 11th annual All People’s Day Diversity Festival is part of a year-round effort to ensure cultural harmony in local communities and to, as the founder, Susan Berkowitz-Schwartz says, provide a platform for people from different cultures to meet and get to know each other better. The free event will take place from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. today at Pompey Park in Delray Beach. There will be more than a dozen live performers, workshops for kids and lots of food, crafts, games and fun–all with people of different ethnic groups and cultural backgrounds. Learn more about it here. The daylong affair is a partnership between the City of Delray Beach’s Parks & Recreation Department and the nonprofit All People’s Day, Inc., which Mrs. Berkowitz-Schwartz founded in 1973–and used to organize this event in more than 50 cities across different states in that time.
